End of January Arab Health is opening its gates for visitors and we are happy that we exhibit there already the 16th time in series. Its a great opportunity to meet you in person and talk about our products and possibilities.

Since last week risa GmbH is an FDA registered comapany again. So we are able to ship your products directly to you in the USA. We can also answer your requests on saw blades and drill bits for delivery to the US.

The first half-year 2022 is over and it was characterized by extreme price increases on energy and raw material. Further more lead times rose to high levels and it became difficult to get material in the required volume with acceptable conditions at the right time.
We could bring some investmens in our prodution into operation and the internal change of the ERP system kept us in high tension.
We are happy that we work together with our customers and partners closely to cope this actual challenges.

We do not only our own medical instruments as drill bits, burrs, reamers and acetabulum reamers, but for many customers also their custom-made products according to drawings. Here our long lasting expertiece in materials and standards for medical equipment is very helpful. With our wide range of machinery and qualified partners we are able to do even complex instruments. Please just ask for your individual offer.

We had to wait a long time but in April finally our new straight turning machine was delivered and installed. This gives us way more capacity and flexibility in our production.

Also the implementation of our new lathe with opposed spindle is finalized. The technical data of this machine allows us the manufacturing of more complex parts in an economical manner.
 
Beginning of this year we installed a new ERP software. The transition is still ongoing, and was not as smooth as planned. But we are confident that soon will be able to work as we have been used to.
 
Finally we expanded our storage. The new raw material rack gives us much more space to ensure more indepency in times of difficult material supply.  But the market situation keeps critical. Please take higher lead times into account when ordering bigger quantities.

risa acetabular reamers are optimized for precision and accuracy during surgery. The unique design cares for high cutting performance and running smoothness. The acetabular reamers are available in diameters from 36 to 74 mm in increments of 1 mm. risa offers also the suitable handles for all popular couplings.
 
 

Last month the re-certification audit of your QM system took place. During two days we were faced with different requiremnds from the audit team and we met all demands.

We put our efforts together during the last weeks and got some old machines out of our production. On this free space we will install a new CNC automatic lathe and a CNC straight turning machine.
This both new machines give us way more flexibility and capacity in the production of our drills and reamers. 

The market reasearch company MarketandResearch.biz put risa on the list of the most important manufacturers in its actual study on surgical saw blades. This made us very proud.
We manufacture saw blades for the whole scope of orthopedic applications. The thicknes reaches from 0.3 upt to 2.0 mm and we adapt to all current coupling. Bent and grinded teeth are possible. Just give us your demand, we prepare your individual offer. You can download our catalogue from here.

Just seven months after the last edition we are in Dubai end of January again. Arab Health is opening its gates for visitors and we are happy that we exhibit there with our own booth. Its a great opportunity to meet you in person and talk about our products and possibilities.

Just beginning of January our new colleague in cutomer service Laura Teufel joined our team. She did her commercial apprenticeship in the field of medical technology and supports us now at all topics in sales and order fulfillment.

After the long Corona break we could set up our stand in Düsseldorf last week. Within the well organized common booth of ACIG we had good circumstances for personal talks with customers and visitors. We could show our wide area of possibilities with our exhibits. Lots of guests from all around the world made this event a big success for us.

Our preparations are running full speed. We are looking forward exhibiting after two years finally in Düsseldorf again and to meet you in person at our booth. At the moment we set up the design of our stand which we adapted to our new CI. We will bring lots of samples to show you our products and our technical possibilities. As many other branches, we are also faced with extremely increased delivery times and prices of raw material. We work closely together with our long term partners, vendors and suppliers to ensure a maximum degree of safety stock of all high runnnig materials. But we need to inform you that in case of special steel grades it may come to longer leed times or deviation in prices. After the long Corona break we could set up our stand in Dubai at the Arab Health last week. Within the well organized country booth of the BW-I we had good circumstances for personal talks with customers and visitors. We could show our wide area of possibilities with our exhibits. Lots of guests from all around the world made this event a big success for us.

We do not only manufacture medical equipment. For a lot of customers out of different industrial branches we produce serial components according to drawing or sketch. On our long and short turning machines and our milling center we are able to make your components in small or medium batches in high quality and cost efficient. Further more we offer manufacturing processes as surface, round and tool grinding as well as laser cutting, welding and marking. Tradition

Since more than 50 years our small automatic bar lathe is doing a good job and it manufactured in this period more than one million components. And it is not the only one. Still four other Tornos automatic lathes are running and produce mainly easy industrial turned parts. For us this is practical sustainability. Beware and use well-operating equipment as long as it is technically possible.

For highest requirements, quality and precision we are well prepared with our modern turning-centers. On this machines we manufacture the basic shapes of all our chirugical drills and reamers. We enhanced our laser welding capacities and have now a much higher output. We are able to weld our and your industrial products in short term. Our staff had extensive trainings with up to date content for best results. The state-of-the-art welding machine ensures high end, pore-free welding seems with smooth surface.

We just finished the second supervisory audit according to the DIN EN ISO 13485, DIN EN ISO 9001 as well as appendix V.3 of the EG guideline 93/42/EWG. We are happy that we could fulfill all the demands of the auditors during the two days and comply with the necessary requirements. If you have any questions regarding our QM system do not hesitate to contact us.

We added a new machine to our measuring equipment and have now a brand new digital measuring projector available. This optical coordinate measuring tool allows us high precison gauging and makes the documentation of the results quick and easy. Thorough trainig of our team ensures a safe integration of the equipment into our processes of manufacturing and testing. If you have any questions reagrding our measurement intruments do not hesitate to ask.
